Sites
- Avoncroft Museum of Historic Buildings
- Open air museum at Bromsgrove with buildings from the Midlands from medieval to 20th century, including the National Collection of Telephone Boxes. Warm, friendly atmosphere, re-enactments, working craftsmen and you might find me there occasionally - check the Events Calendar. - Dry Stone Walling Association
- What it says on the tin - National Association with regional branches, their website offers useful basic guidance on the ancient craft, including necessarily simplistic observations on regional and local stiles. - Made in Lancashire
- A not-for-profit organisation run from the Rural Business Unit at Myerscough College, supporting local small producers of Food and Drink in Lancashire. Sadly the Art and Crafts section is not currently functioning, having been deprived of its funding just when it was getting going. - Manic Organic
- A local organic farm shop in Scarisbrick, which also sells a range of other locally grown produce including eggs, meat and cheese. They also display ( and occasionally sell ) some of my and a few other local craftspeople's products. - Scarisbrick Village
- The local website for the village where I live, with potted history, links to local schools, businesses, etc - The Cottage Garden Society
- Lancashire & Northwest Area Group of the national society, members share an interest in traditional gardening, hold meetings, garden openings and plant sales. - The Museum of English Rural Life
- Run by Reading University, some useful reference library-type stuff and occasionally has interesting on-line exhibitions.
